In the beginning of my faith walk, there were a few songs that sustained me and continue to do so. The first is "God Will Make a Way". When I first heard this song, I was in the midst of my divorce and our home life was chaotic. I definitely was in survival mode for myself and my children. This song reassured me that God was always with me and, in spite of my circumstances, He would make a way for us. As a testimony, it has been over 30 years, and God has made a way for all of us in ways that are above and beyond anything we could have possibly imagined.
My prayer is that, if you are going through a hard time, you will turn to God for His help, and this song will be a reassurance that God will make a way for you also.

Every time I hear this song, I am transported back in time when John and I were dating. We had gone to hear a preacher in St. Pete and this was one of the worship songs. The words to this song were so much our hearts cry to the Lord. As we sang together, we were of one heart and one accord, worshipping in spirit and .in truth. It was a special night of worship. Lord, I pray that as I continue to seek Your face, you will continue to draw me back to my first love, Jesus. As I abide in You, You will abide in me. More of You and less of me.
